Description: Q & A with Expert: Tyre Extrusion Troubleshooting is scheduled on 14 May 2021 at 3pm Germany. In this session, all professionals related to tyre extrusion are invited to join. The registered participants can ask questions or queries on technical issues related to tyre extrusion. The invited expert is Dr. Gerard Nijman, a well-experienced rubber technologist with more than 30 years experience in rubber processing and tyre manufacturing. Dr. Gerard will address the issues raised as appropriate. Registered participants can send questions in advance that they want to ask or they can ask their questions in the live session. If participants wish to have a private session with it will be arranged at mutual convenient time. Private Session length is 90 minutes maximum.
Expert: Dr. Gerard Nijman, a well-experienced and recognized rubber technologist has 33+years’ experience in rubber processing and tyre manufacturing. Currently, he is working as the Head of R&D and Technology Rubber Machinery at KraussMaffei Extrusion GmbH, Germany. In the past, He worked at Apollo Tyres (former Vredestein), Netherlands (29 yrs) as R&D Sr. Expert and also worked at HF-Tiretech Group, Germany as Head of Extrusion Process Engineering. He is awarded with 17 patents and received “Europe Rubber Technologist Award 2016”. He is a regular invited speaker and trainer at tyre and rubber industry conferences and workshops across the world. His educational credentials include: Ph.D in Polymer Processing ((University of Twente, Netherlands) and Master´s degree in Rheology (University of Twente, Netherlands).

Description: Q & A with Expert: Rubber Compounding - Formulation Development & Troubleshooting is scheduled on 21 May 2021 at 4pm India. In this session, all professionals related to rubber compounding are invited to join. The registered participants can ask questions or queries on technical issues related to rubber compound formulation development and troubleshooting of problems in rubber compounding. The invited expert is Dr. Samar Bandyopadhyay, a well-experienced rubber technologist with more than 25 years experience in rubber compounding, materials selection and rubber testing. Dr. Samar will address the issues raised as appropriate. Registered participants can send questions in advance that they want to ask or they can ask their questions in the live session. If participants wish to have a private session with it will be arranged at mutual convenient time. Private Session length is 120 minutes maximum.
Expert: Dr. Samar Bandyopadhyay has completed M. Tech Degree in Plastics and Rubber Technology from University of Calcutta. Received Ph.D degree during December 2007 from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. He joined HASETRI in 1992 and worked for more than 23 years. He has worked as Head (R&D) of Pidilite Industries Ltd. at Dahej, Gujarat for one and half years. Currently working as Business Head in Pukhraj Additives LLP. He is a Guest Faculty in the field of Polymer Science and Technology of University of Calcutta, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur and Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic, Udaipur. He is the Honorary Secretary of Indian Rubber Institute (IRI) Rajasthan Branch. Participated as faculty in PGDIRI – DIRI National Level Crash Course for Rajasthan and Karnataka branch for a number of times. He is a Lead Assessor of National Accreditation Board of Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) in the field of Testing and Proficiency Test Programme. He is a Fellow Member of Institute of Engineers (India) Ltd. and Indian Rubber Institute. He has in his credit 60 numbers of Technical papers and 3 book chapters.
