Mr. Jom Jacob is a Senior Economist, Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries, Kuala Lumpur. Jacob possesses extensive experience in analysing rubber market, forecasting industry trends, formulating development plans and undertaking studies. He maintains a broad network among industry players and professionals in commodity markets, downstream rubber manufacturing, investment banks and hedge funds across countries. Currently based in Kuala Lumpur as Senior Economist at the ANRPC, an inter-governmental organization of natural rubber producing countries. Jacob holds a Masters in Statistics from the Kerala University in India and M. Phil. in Applied Economics from the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi. Jacob is a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) of the USA-based International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) and a full member of the UK-based Society of Technical Analysts (STA). He has to his credit about 100 published papers and analytical articles on rubber industry.
